The 10-year anniversary edition of the Northampton Print & Book Fair will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 11AM – 5PM at the Northampton Community Arts Trust's complex at 33 Hawley Street. The deadline for applications is Tuesday, July 15 at 11:59pm. Notifications will go out on or before August 1.
One of our goals is to create an event that is diverse, inclusive, accessible for all, and showcases a range of art practices, voices, and perspectives from our community and beyond. We welcome and encourage applications from LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC artists and publishers, artists of all ages and abilities, past participants of NPBF as well as folks who have never participated in an art/book/zine fair before.

NPBF is focused on showcasing the works of individual artists and publishers of art-related printed matter and art objects. At NPBF you can find a wide range of contemporary artwork including:
Artists’ books
Zines
Small edition poetry books, chapbooks, and comics
Handmade/hand-pulled prints and posters (silkscreen, intaglio, woodcut, etc.)
Digital and machine prints (laser, inkjet, xerox, risograph, etc.)
Letterpress prints and cards
Photographic prints (digital and analog)
Artist multiples (pottery, stickers, wearable art)
If your work does not fit in one of the categories listed above but you believe it would be a good match for our event, please contact us before applying. Keep in mind that this fair is mainly focused on: artists who use publishing as part of their practice, and artists who create original artwork in limited editions.

Half table (2.5’ x 3’) sliding scale: $20 – $40
Full table (2.5’ x 6’) sliding scale: $50 – $70Tables come with signage with your vendor name and chairs. Half tables can accommodate one person; full tables can accommodate two people.
Wall space is limited and not guaranteed, but we will do our best to accommodate requests.

We will waive the table fee and provide two selected applicants with a $100 cash stipend to support their participation at NPBF. To be considered for a stipend, we simply ask for a brief statement as to how it would help your participation in the event (printing new artwork, traveling from out of town, missing work, childcare, etc.)

NPBF will take place at the Northampton Community Arts Trust building located at 33 Hawley Street, Northampton, MA. 33 Hawley is a fully accessible, ADA-compliant building with all-gender restrooms and plenty of free onsite parking.
Specifically, NPBF will take place in the Workroom inside 33 Hawley. This room, managed by A.P.E. Gallery, is an expansive 3,800 sq ft multi-use space with high ceilings and a large garage door that will be open if weather permits to allow in fresh air. Additionally, we will do our best to ensure a minimum of 36" of unobstructed space behind and between tables.
While masks are not required inside 33 Hawley Street as a whole, the first hour of NPBF (11AM – 12PM) masks will be required in the Workroom. After that, masks are not required but encouraged.
